REIKI is an ancient Japanese art of energy healing that balances your universal life energy (your Qi or Chi) within your chakras, it removes emotional blockages and can relieve physical pain. The circle begins with a guided meditation by way of Angels and Spirit Guides, bringing tranquility and clarity before receiving the energy healing. During the Reiki session, the practitioner will place hands on or hover them lightly over different energy centers (chakras), in which energy will flow through your body to heal and release stress. As the healing circle closes with a sacred chant, one will experience relaxation and rejuvenation.
Melissa felt an intuitive desire to be an advocate in her community and assist individuals heal from their pain empower them to 
create the life that they deserved. She began studying psychology and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology, and high honors with a Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology. As a candidate in a clinical psychology doctoral program, she began to explore alternative holistic methods of healing and energy based therapies. She has extensive therapeutic and clinical experience with adolescents, women, and families since 1998. She found that the mind body connection was essential in emotionally releasing fear, pain, stress, and anxiety. She has found her divine purpose within energetic methods of healing and transitioned from traditional psychotherapy to transpersonal psychology and spiritual life coaching. In her coaching, she utilizes holistic methods of healing the body, mind, and spirit through the guidance of your Higher Self and Spirit.
