New Moon Guidance in Sagittarius

Come Experience a guided explanation of what to look for in your relationships, abundance, and career paths through the position of planets and celestial bodies.

We are now leaving the thick, heavy soup of Scorpio where we have been treading, keeping our heads just above water for the last month. Feelings have been posted in the pits of our stomachs reaching deep like the trunks of trees. If we sought out intimacy and honesty we may feel nourished. If we hid in the cold darkness, we may feel isolated. Either way, now is the time to soar out from the underworld into the heights of Sagittarius. As Sagittarius, the sign of the archer, aims upward to gain a broad perspective and understanding of life. This cycle is an important one as we have many different astrological aspects that will unfold in the weeks to come. This New Moon squares Uranus increasing chances of unexpected events landing in our lives. We will need to stay flexible and limber and be careful not to over plan a too rigid schedule. Complicating this is that Mercury will turn retrograde the day after Christmas and the simple every day details of life may become difficult to manage. A retrograde planet gives us direction to turn inwards and is always a signal to slow down. Furthering this theme Mars, the planet of action, turns retrograde 4 days after the start of this lunation. Mars retrogrades every 26 months and this time will “turn backwards” in Leo and will be there until March 10th.The planetary theme approaching strongly suggests that we get as much accomplished before the 20th of December and be prepared to keep things as simple and stress free as possible as the COSMIC PAUSE button is about to be set. If this isn’t enough New Year’s Eve will bloom in the sky and in our backyard parties with a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse, heralding in 2010 with power and potency.

We are saying good bye to 2009. I tell people if your head is still above water and you are not sinking consider that you are doing well as it’s been a hell of a year of astrological aspects!

Please pre-register by calling Milda at 305-757-9857

Cost $20.00 or $25.00 at the door.

Please bring your Birth Chart. You can contact Lynne if you would like to have a Birth Chart created for you at 305-759-2202 ($5.00 fee)

Kirtan 8pm-10pm — Drum Circle 10pm-12pm

Showing up without a mask can be scary. A spiritual community is here to support you in becoming who you really are. When you have conscious people around you to reflect your true essence it is easier to be real and allow the false self to dissolve. Without a conscious community, it is easy to get lost in our head and in our projections. All Hallow’s Eve is traditionally a time to embrace the lower self and allow the passions and desires that have been repressed to find a safe and healthy release. Pleasure is necessary for growth and good health. This Kirtan will be a prime opportunity to let go and have some fun. Through sacred music, a drum circle, and healing rhythms we will embrace all three aspects of our self, the animal, the human, and the angel. It is this integration that is the essence of the inner alchemy which represents the healing path of the Sun.

Love Donations Graciously Accepted! We will also be celebrating a special SOL TEMPLE Birthday for Michelle……You are welcome to come in costume….

About SOL Temple:
SOL Temple is a unique band of Kundalini Naam Yogis in South Florida. Comprised of several of Miami’s finest yoga teachers, SOL Temple, was formed as a way to combine their passion for yoga and healing sounds. We are dedicated to creating music that honors and invokes the poetry and vitality that is within all forms of life. Come prepared to sing, laugh and awaken your Soul. Chanting with SOL Temple is a direct link to the healing power of the Sun!

You are invited to an evening with Elijah Nisenboim… spiritual healer, guide and reader.

Elijah will discuss how your hands and fingerprints reveal your life purpose and the keys to unlocking its potential. Palmistry is ancient science that looks at all aspect of the hands to discern various characteristics and patterns found in the personality as well as the events that have shaped us. Throughout our life the shape of the hand, the lines, markings, and fingers change as we change. The fingerprints go on the hand five months prior to birth and never change. They reveal your life purpose and what your lessons and challenges are to achieving it. Like an acorn is encoded to become an oak tree, the fingerprints carry the genetic encoding showing who we are meant to become. Fingerprints express the psychology of your Soul, which takes place regardless of life circumstance and experience. Knowing this helps us to find our lessons and opportunities in all of life’s circumstances.

Cost: $25
To register contact Milda @ 305-757-9857

Elijah will be in Miami from October 15-21 offering private life
purpose readings. For more information visit www.karmadoctor.com/miami.html

When Bahamas-born, son of a teacher and police officer, now accomplished Visual Artist, “REALITY” completed his 7-year tour of duty with the Marine Corp, never did he dream that his travels through Nigeria, Cameroon, the Caribbean Islands and other exotic locales would have lead to such an explosion of artistic expression.

This visionary, creative being directed his sometimes-adverse experiences into what’s been coined a “Reality Check”. REALITY translates his limitless flow of imagery and creativity and shares raw emotions and real life circumstances through his art in a contemporary context. When asked where he taps into his most concentrated source of inspiration, he simply replies, “My feelings translate into visual imagery. I use pictures to tell stories, recount dreams and express emotions.” He continued by expressing that he “strongly believes we are expressing Renaissance of sorts on earth and that art created by hand is generating life and encouraging movement.”

This self-professed late (artistic) bloomer attended a small fine arts college supported in spirit by teachers who encourage his creative energy. REALITY has turned his hand and eye to custom-embellished apparel, children swear & books, and unique consumer products as outlets for his distinctive expression.

Most recently, REALITY has teamed with a small group of grass roots community organizers called CATCH27 (representing the 27 Florida Electoral Votes). Powered by CATCH27, REALITY created nearly 27 pieces of emotionally fueled, larger-than-life artworks across Dade and Broward Counties. The works are prominently featured in predominantly economically challenged communities with the intent to raise awareness and encouraged integral voter participation in the 2008 political process in support of president-Elect Senator Barack Obama. www.catch27.blogspot.com

REALITY at Bagua, Wednesday, October 29, 2008.

REALITY is currently exhibiting his most current works at the W Wine Bistro, 3622 N.E. 2nd Avenue, Miami, Fl. 33137, 305-576-7775, now through January 15, 2009. In early February, he will participate in a dynamic showcase of art, apparel and unique home wares/objects with live painting at Bagua, 4736 N.E. 2nd Avenue, Miami Fl. 33137. 305-757-9857. www.bagua9.com

17. Smile and laugh more. It will keep the NEGATIVE BLUES away.

30. Your job won’t take care of you when you are sick

31. Get rid of anything that isn’t useful, beautiful, or joyful.

32. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.

33. The best is yet to come.

34. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up, and show up.

35. Do the right thing.

36. Call your family often. (Or e-mail them to death!)

37. Each night before you go to bed, complete the following statements: I am thankful for _______________. Today I accomplished ________________.

38. Remember that you are too blessed to be stressed.

39. Enjoy the ride. Remember this is not Disney World and you certainly don’t want a fast pass. You only have one ride through life, so make the most of it and enjoy the ride.

40. Share this with those you care about. I just did. May your troubles be less, May your blessings be more, May nothing but happiness come through your door!
